Julia Stanmore

HEAD COACH (CF-L2, First Aid)

After starting my CrossFit journey in CrossFit Kids twelve years ago, I was drawn into it by the community and I have been coaching for the last seven years. I love the variety within CrossFit and I have never got bored of it and it is the only sport that has the 10 components of fitness which encourages physical preparedness. I love seeing the empowerment that comes from people achieving things they never thought they were capable of and that they can do more than they believe.

COACH (CF-L2, First Aid)

I have been a part of the CrossFit community since 2017 and it has helped me not only push through some extremely challenging experiences in the defence force, it has given me a sense of confidence to tackle anything that thrown at me and to excel at it. As a coach I want to help people by prioritising strong positions that imitate how the human body is capable of moving to grow strong in natural movement patterns. 

Joel Deans

OWNER / COACH (CF-L2, First Aid)

With over 50 years of life experience, I have always had a passion for fitness, starting from a young age growing up in Switzerland and PNG through to my time in the army, including a stint in the Special Forces. Now with my corporate life largely behind me, my passion is to help others – especially masters athletes – build healthy habits across all areas of life. I believe true health involves not just physical strength, but also mental and spiritual well-being. My mission is to walk along others creating balanced, empowered lives, no matter their age or starting point.
